In The Days Last Light

"In the days last light"
Before the rise of the moon,
In quiet thought, I stand spent.
The day was long, but well used;
A heart well stoked, ebbs the blues.

Full moons' rising, washes away sun's light;
Soon sounds, music of the night.
There on my porch, me and night,
basking in what was, "the days last light".
