In The Days Last Light

"In the days last light"
Before the rise of the moon,
In quiet thought, I stand spent.
The day was long, but well used;
A heart well stoked, ebbs the blues.

Full moons' rising, washes away sun's light;
Soon sounds, music of the night.
There on my porch, me and night,
basking in what was, "the days last light".

Sounds like you've earned that bask.
Great post!

Love the idea of basking with the night! A real "wind down" time!
