Poem

If I could take a word
pick it from a tree
compose it into a thought
then set it free
it would roam amid
the opalescent sky,
fly where angels flown.
Blessed would be its landing,
if in poem it was shown.
The joy of words united,
tarry not in battles strong.
Resting upon the loving lips
of those who softly utter you on.

Wow! this reminds me of shelly's ode to the west wind ...the last stanza!

Words roaming free to settle on someone's lips! wonderful imagery!
